VICRYL RAPIDE™ (polyglactin 910) Suture
VICRYL RAPIDE™ Suture is the fastest-absorbing Ethicon synthetic suture and is indicated for use in superficial soft tissue approximation of the skin and mucosa, where only short-term wound support is required. VICRYL RAPIDE Suture, composed of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide copolymer, is a synthetic absorbable suture intended to model the performance of collagen (surgical gut) suture with less tissue reaction.
