The KARL STORZ navigation system, NAV1® ELECTROMAGNETIC provides support to surgeons in the fields of otorhinolaryngology and skull base surgery. The system uses a sophisticated electromagnetic tracking system. Tiny, high-sensitivity sensors are integrated directly in the instrument tip. The tracking system identifies the position and orientation of these sensors within the magnetic field with utmost precision.
