We are pleased to announce the safe deployment of a Hydra 30mm Transcatheter Aortic Heart Valve, carried out at the General University Hospital of Patras.
The HYDRA valve is a self-expanding, supra-annular TAVR device with bovine pericardium tissue, designed to deliver excellent hemodynamic performance and reliable outcomes in the treatment of aortic stenosis.
🔹 About HYDRA
HYDRA combines a self-expanding frame with supra-annular leaflet positioning, providing optimized flow dynamics and robust clinical performance. Its design addresses a wide range of anatomies, with the goal of improving long-term patient outcomes in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
🔹 About the Case Report
In this clinical case at the General University Hospital of Patras, HYDRA demonstrated safe deployment, excellent device–patient interaction, and favorable hemodynamics post-implantation.
A sincere thank you to Periklis Davlouros, Grigorios Tsigkas, Alfonso Ialesio, Kunal Mudnani and the rest of the team for their important contributions in making this case possible.
We look forward to more collaborations, clinical evidence, and innovation in advancing cardiovascular solutions.
